Does this sound like you?
You’ve been different your whole life but couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it is that makes you so. You yearn for social connection but have a hard time relating to others without feeling burnt out. So many things interest you that don’t necessarily interest others. Pleasing people is your forte until it becomes your weakness. Certain sounds, textures, and smells can send you into a spiral. There are foods that are deemed “safe” because of them being consistent in taste, texture, and smell. Organization is both your friend and enemy: you enjoy planning things to the T until your brain shuts down and wants spontaneity. You’re able to focus on some things and not others.
What if someone told you that all of what you experience resembles those related to Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder?
At Andante Healing Therapy, we know about the systems put in place that prevent people from getting those answers and understand how important it is to figure out what makes you yourself. We offer evaluations via telehealth for ADHD, ASD, and AuDHD (Autism and ADHD combined) to help you not only know yourself better but to determine what supports are available for you to help you be your true self without needing to mask. We use the Cherry AADI–designed by Lindley Cherry, LCMHC, QS, NCC–which is a clinical assessment method designed specifically for identifying ADHD, autism, and co-occurring presentations (AuDHD) in adults.
Assessment: Cherry AADI
Time: 180 minutes in interview + 30-minute follow-up session
Cost: $1150
Key Features:
Adult-Centered Approach: Unlike tools designed for children and adapted for adults, the Cherry AADI was created specifically for adult presentations, accounting for developmental masking, compensatory strategies, and life experience factors.
Culturally Responsive: Incorporates systematic consideration of cultural, gender, and identity factors that influence neurodivergent presentation and recognition.
Strengths-Based: Emphasizes individual neurological profiles and environmental fit rather than deficit-focused assessment.
Comprehensive Scope: Addresses not only core diagnostic criteria but also masking behaviors, sensory processing differences, and pathological demand avoidance patterns.
Fee covers the time taken for assessment interview, all additional time spent completing documentation or related tasks, and follow-up session.
A thorough review of your information is cross-examined with common misdiagnoses then compared to DSM-5 -TR diagnostic criteria.
A comprehensive diagnostic report based on the data acquired during the assessment process is completed and a copy provided to you.
The wait time for the diagnostic report ranges from only 2 – 3 weeks.
At the follow-up session, your provider will discuss their findings and provide a copy of the assessment for you to review and approve.
